Think out of the box. Storopack’s cushioning, wrapping, and void filling looking at 3 different products for 3 different activities. What if we say we have a 3 in 1 product. It’s compact and fast. Paperplus track, eliminate wrapping from your process to get more effective and efficient outcomes.

The new machine by the Metzingen-based packaging specialist is designed for applications in which high throughput and secure packaging material are a must – Paperplus track. It produces paper cushions directly at the packing station in mere seconds, delivering highly effective padding while using less material.

With sturdy padding, the system is ideal for medium to large packages weighing between five and 50 kilograms – the perfect solution for shipping eCommerce, cosmetics, spare parts, electronic components, and ceramics.

Paperplus track is compact and, like all other Storopack padding systems, can also be integrated into existing distribution lines. As a result, the Paperplus track guarantees optimal packing processes and reduces process costs. The machine is now available.

With paper cushions, shipping goods can be reliably blocked and braced and also protected from knocks. For even better product protection and more efficient use of material, can specifically adjust the volume of the paper cushions for every product. Users also benefit from the especially safe blade-free technology of the Paperplus track – the paper is perforated, making it extremely easy to separate each paper cushion mechanically, which minimizes offcuts individually.

Paperplus track is low-maintenance, works quietly, and enables fast and simple paper replacement. Everything about the Paperplus track is designed for speed – with an on-demand function, and the system automatically produces more paper cushions once they have been removed. Another advantage is that the machine features a touch screen and can connect to Wi-Fi. The paper cushion system can also be controlled online from an external location via smartphone or tablet.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to the country-wide lockdown on 25 March 2020. It will be two years tomorrow as I write this. What have we learned in this time? Maybe the meaning of resilience since small companies like us have had to rely on our resources and the forbearance of our employees as we have struggled to produce our trade platforms.

The print and packaging industries have been fortunate, although the commercial printing industry is still to recover. We have learned more about the digital transformation that affects commercial printing and packaging. Ultimately digital will help print grow in a country where we are still far behind in our paper and print consumption and where digital is a leapfrog technology that will only increase the demand for print in the foreseeable future.

Web analytics show that we now have readership in North America and Europe amongst the 90 countries where our five platforms reach. Our traffic which more than doubled in 2020, has at times gone up by another 50% in 2021. And advertising which had fallen to pieces in 2020 and 2021, has started its return since January 2022.

As the economy approaches real growth with unevenness and shortages a given, we are looking forward to the PrintPack India exhibition in Greater Noida. We are again appointed to produce the Show Daily on all five days of the show from 26 to 30 May 2022.
