CMG Granulators, Colines SpA, Millutensil Srl, and OMERA Srl will introduce the steps toward sustainable manufacturing in a technical webinar organised by The Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry with the support of the Embassy of Italy in India On the 29th of June, 2022 at 4.00 pm IST. The technical webinar is organised in association with AMAPLAST and UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, and media partner Machine Maker.

On the 29th of June, 2022 The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) in partnership with the Embassy of Italy in India will be organizing a technical webinar on- ‘Can Capital Machinery be Energy Efficient?’ from 16:00 to 17:30 (GMT+5:30). It will be in collaboration with the Italian Machinery Associations which is the AMP AMAPLAST, UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE Group, and media house partner-Machine Maker.

In the opening session His Excellency Vincenzo de Luca, Ambassador of Italy to India will do the opening remarks, and the session will have Claudio Maffioletti, CEO and Secretary General, The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IICCI), Stefania Arioli, Marketing Manager AMAPLAST & Alberto Nicolai, Marketing Manager UCIMU – Sistemi Per Produrre as speakers.

In the technical session chaired by Hari Shanker, Managing Editor, Machine Maker, Alessandro Pagani, Export Sales Manager, will talk about Recycling of plastics in the era of Circular Economy: 50% energy consumption reduction Reducing energy costs and optimizing production processes are among the key factors for all manufacturing companies in the plastic industry.

Furthermore, Francesco Peccetti, Sales Area Manager of Colines SpAwill present Modern solutions for mono-material film extrusion Cast PP and PE film overview. Veronica Just, Vice President of Millutensil Srl will be presenting Why investing in a Millutensil spotting press are extremely useful for improving the quality and precision of moulds, reducing production times and ensuring maximum operator safety.

In the final session Valerio Ferraro, Sales Manager of OMERA Srl will talk about Green Revolution by OMERA – their sustainability Project for presses, trimming machines and automatic production lines destined for the deep drawing and sheet metal stamping sector. The technical webinar will have a Question & Answer session by Hari Shanker and conclude with a vote of thanks by Nilesh Joshi, Manager – Italian Machinery Desk in India (AMAPLAST & UCIMU India Representative), IICCI.

While India aims to become a manufacturing and export powerhouse, and Italy is one of the most experienced countries in the development of manufacturing clusters and world-renown advanced technological solutions for industrial machinery, Make in India becomes their alliance towards progress. Thus, IICCI and the Embassy of Italy in India have been under this project, organizing a series of digital initiatives to strengthen the economic ties between India and Italy. It strives at presenting the latest technologies and solutions by Italian machinery manufacturers to the Indian market. After the success of the initiative in 2021, they are replicating it in 2022 to focus on energy efficiency from a capital machinery point of view.

Claudio Maffioletti, CEO and Secretary General of The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IICCI), has conveyed this message to the young entrepreneurs and people from the manufacturing industry, “From reducing energy consumption to carbon-neutral production, the European and Italian industry is making strides in becoming more sustainable and efficient. In all the technical webinars which we organized under the Make in India with Italy initiative, we brought new trending topics in the manufacturing sector with an objective to showcase Italian excellence & advancement in technology. In this webinar also the Italian companies from the machine tool & plastic machinery sector will introduce the latest developments by them on energy-saving, the green revolution, sustainable solutions, technical aspects, sector developments, and market updates.”

He further stated that the webinar would be useful for participants to get an insightful view on the energy efficiency front which is a key to sustainable development. “So, we invite companies to attend this important webinar”, added Mr Maffioletti. This online webinar will be a part of a series in order to boost partnerships in the industrial machinery and manufacturing sector between Italy and India, and the current session 4 Italian companies CMG Granulators, Colines Extrusion Lines, Millutensil SRL, and OMERA will share how energy efficiency can be achieved with advanced technology.

“Energy efficiency is very important for the future. Improving energy efficiency enables businesses to downsize their energy use which in turn costs and optimizes production processes which are among the key factors for the development of all the manufacturing companies. This webinar would focus on and present the latest developments by Italian machinery producers on the energy efficiency front” says Nilesh Joshi, Manager at the Italian Machinery Desk in India, IICCI.

The CMG Granulator offers a method of recycling plastics in the era of a circular economy. It also helps in 50% energy consumption reduction. The Colines SpA are one of the modern solutions for mono-material film extrusion, cast PP, and PE film overview and is also a brand-new automation package. The Millutentsil Srl spotting presses are extremely useful for improving the quality and precision of moulds, reducing production times, and ensuring maximum operator safety. The advantage is the simulation of production by enabling full testing of mould functionality, integrated rotational table for multi-component moulds, and space-saving design, leading to a drastic reduction of finishing timing. The final topic of the Green Revolution by OMERA Srl is the sustainability project for presses, trimming machines, and automatic production lines destined for the deep drawing and sheet metal stamping sector.

These green technologies are introduced by the companies mentioned above to be careful and sensitive towards the market, human needs, and respect for the environment. This step towards conserving the environment with the help of green technologies can be integrated into the machines and be utilized for energy efficiency. Machine Maker will publish and report about the post-event on the 29th of June, 2022.
